Join us for an evening of hope and support for families who have a loved one with cancer.
This free event is intended for patients and families cared for by Goshen Center for Cancer Care. Activities are geared towards children ages 6-18, and all participants should be accompanied by their loved one(s).
When a family member is diagnosed with cancer, it can be very disruptive to a child’s life. The concerns and emotions of children require attention as the adults attend to their own health needs. This program will provide children with age-appropriate expressive activities and tools to cope with their feelings. Adults will have an opportunity for peer support and to discuss approaches for helping their children cope in the midst of cancer.
